I used to be an investment banker, and I enjoy reading profiles of successful investment bankers in part because they help me understand why I was not, myself, a successful investment banker. Decide what you want to be successful at. Decide what you want to aim for. Reading about other people who do things you might consider your successes is a good way to test those ideas.
